Pennsylvania Drone Services

We offer many drone services across Pennsylvania. We have aerial photographers from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh, from Erie to Scranton and everywhere in between. While real estate drone photography is our specialty, we offer a multitude of other drone services. Below are some of the most popular services requested.

Residential Real Estate Drone Photography

Using drones in real estate is our bread and butter. Extensive experience has given us a thorough understanding of the industry. We employ advanced editing techniques and understand MLS requirements. We don't just take photos of the house we also take photos to show off the property in relation to the area as you can see in this photo taken of a property near Marsh Creek outside of Philadelphia.

Drone photos are delivered within 1 business day after the shoot is completed. We know realtors need a fast turnaround to get the photos into the listing as quickly as possible.

Drones in Construction

Drones are often used to track progress at construction sites. Operators will generally create a flight plan and then use the same plan each time they fly to follow the build for the construction or engineering companies to refer back to later. We can provide this service as well as marketing photos for any construction sites throughout the state.

We also have drone pilots across PA who are experienced at creating highly detailed 'maps' of construction sites using tools such as Pix4d.

Commercial Real Estate

Commercial real estate drone services is the fastest growing area of our business. We do a lot of work in this space and understand it well. Normally realtors want lots of cars in parking lots to show off how many potential customers there are. Because of our vast drone pilot network we have the scheduling availability to preform shoots during peak hours.

We also understand the importance of showing off the area including busy roads, downtown skylines, other attractions nearby and similar so we put additional focus on this during the shoot. Commercial real estate companies often span larger areas which makes it challenging to source drone pilots. We have over 3500 pilots in our network. We can cover you anywhere you have a property. You can learn more about our specific commercial real estate services here.

And Much More...

The reality is the drone field is still new. We regularly get approached by people and businesses with new innovative ideas on how to use drones. We can almost always find a way to make it work. If you have an interesting idea let us help you put it to action.

Pennsylvania Drone Photos

We provide drone photography services anywhere in PA. The drones we use have HDR technologies to blend photos creating deeper colors that stand out the crowd. Because we have an extensive network of drone pilots we are able to quickly deliver the photos you need, anywhere in the state. Our editors are standing by to edit any photos we take to ensure they look their best. Below are just a few examples of photos our pilots have taken across the state.

Aerial Photos by City

Drone pilots travel far and wide to capture the perfect photo. You can click the Pennsylvania cities below to view photos uploaded from some of these locations. We serve cities all across Pennsylvania, far beyond what is listed below.

Pennsylvania Drone Video

A skilled drone pilot can use video to tell a story about the property you are selling. Video quality is constantly improving with many drones now capable of 4k resolution. Social media posts with video are ranked higher and get more views than those without. It's no surprise that 85% of homebuyers prefer to work with an agent using video. We are able to host video that is supported by MLS's accross the nation. Below are videos pilots have added from Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania Drone Laws

The rules and regulations are constantly changing for drones. Most people now know that you have to be certified to fly drones for profit, which you can read about here. The more challenging part is understanding all the local and state laws. In PA you are banned from flying drones in most state parks. You also are not allowed to fly them in state game lands.

There is no central authoritative location to lookup local ordinances.. We have created a crowd sourced database of ordinances to provide some help. You can view it here. Some of the townships we know that have ordinances are Canoy, Willistown, West Goshen and East Goshen

Drones by Season in PA

Drone work is outdoor work. It is greatly affected by weather and seasonal change. PA and the Northeast in general benefit from this seasonal change. It gives us beautiful fall leaves, summers that aren't too hot and winters with snow. However, drone pilots should plan around the seasons as this greatly affects workload.

Winter Drone Work

Drone work tends to dry up if there is snow on the ground. Houses just don't look warm and inviting when you see cold snow. Realtors realize this so don't expect a ton of work in the winter. There are other areas you can look for work. Heavily wooded areas actually benefit from drone work in the winter as leafless trees open up aerial views of houses that weren't there before. Even though ski resorts often have policies against drones there are sometimes opportunities for work there. The reality is work is harder to come by in the winter months so plan accordingly.

Spring Drone Work

Once spring rolls around the real estate market jumps into action. There is a large increase in the volume of real estate drone jobs available. You might assume this is the best time of year for drone work. It's not. It's a great time of year with plenty of work available, however in PA it rains often in the springtime. If you look at a rain chart it might not appear so. However that's because in the spring time the rains are usually a slow drizzle that last longer and come more often. You also have another issue in play. You will hear the phrase("I want to wait until the trees leaf out") regularly. By the time this happens the property may have sold or rain gets in the way. The customers aren't wrong. Drone photos look substantially nicer once grasses are green and leaves are on the trees. Trees aren't fully covered until you are into the month of May in PA. Make no mistake there is lots of work in spring but it's not the money maker like our next season.

Summer Drone Work

This is your go time. Besides thunderstorms here and there that dump a lot of rain quickly, summers are relatively dry in PA. With less rain in your way, plant life fully awoken and the real estate market charging ahead this is the season drone pilots get most excited for. The long days give you much more time to shoot and fewer issues with shadows in your photos. The overcast days of spring are gone giving you bright popping pictures that require far less time editing in photoshop. Summer is THE season for drone work in PA

Fall drone Work

Fall is a surprisingly active season for drones. There's one big reason for this in PA. Colorful leaves. There is a rush in fall to get photos of properties with the leaves in color before they drop for the winter. This in effect pulls some work out of winter and into the fall but it does make it so that once a drone pilot has a steady stream of customers they shouldn't see much of a drop off between summer and fall workload.
